How this site makes money

That is the whole arrangement. Here is what it does not buy:

• No company can pay to be included here, to be ranked higher, or to have criticism taken out.
• Commission rates differ between the companies we write about. Nothing here is ordered by what they pay.
• We link to products that pay us nothing when they are the right answer.

Links to companies we can earn from carry rel=“sponsored nofollow”, which is what search engines ask for on a paid link. Which companies those are changes as affiliate programs are joined and left.

Separately from the money: every price and product fact here is read off the vendor's own pages and dated where it appears. We have not run these products on live jobs, and nothing here is a first-hand account of using one.
