Affiliate disclosure

The short version

Some of the links on this site are paid links. If you click one and sign up for the product, the company pays JobsiteStack a commission. You pay the same price either way, and clicking a paid link never costs you anything extra.

How you can tell

We label paid links in three places, so you never have to guess:

1. At the link. Every paid link is followed by the words Paid link, right where the link appears in the text.
2. At the top of the article. Any article containing at least one paid link opens with a disclosure box, above the article body, before you reach the first link.
3. In the title.When an article is wholly about products we can earn commission on, which is what a “best of” roundup or a head-to-head comparison usually is, the title starts with Ad:. That label appears on the article, on the index pages and in the browser tab, so the commercial nature of the piece is clear before you click through to it.

These labels are applied automatically by the site itself, based on the links an article actually contains. They are not added by hand article by article, so an article cannot be published with a paid link that we forgot to disclose.

What commission does not buy

No company can pay to be included in an article, to be ranked higher in one, or to have criticism removed. Commission rates differ between the companies we write about, and we do not order recommendations by what they pay.

We also link to products that pay us nothing, when they are the right answer. Those links carry no paid link label, because they are not paid.

How our articles are made

Our comparisons are built from published sources: vendor pricing pages, public product documentation, help centres, and the terms and conditions each company publishes. Articles are drafted with the help of AI tools working from that published material.

We do not run these products on live jobs, and nothing on this site is a first-hand account of using one. When you read that a product does something, that means the company says so in public, not that we have tested it. Prices and features in this category change often, so check the current details with the vendor before you buy.

Programs

JobsiteStack participates in affiliate programs run by software companies in the home service and field service category, some of them directly and some through affiliate networks. The list of companies we have a paid relationship with changes as programs are joined and left, and the labelling described above always reflects the current list.
