What the prices do not tell you

MaidCentral
MaidCentral sells one platform and prices it with a calculator: $250 a month for every physical location, then the first hundred completed jobs at $2.00 each, jobs 101 to 500 at $1.50, 501 to 1,000 at $1.25 and everything above at $1.00. One location and a hundred jobs is the $450 a month floor the page advertises. Starter, Growth and Scale are the bands that calculator moves through as the job count climbs rather than plans anybody chooses between, which is why only the first one carries a figure here. The arithmetic lives in the page's own script rather than in print, so this record was entered by hand from it, and MaidCentral says the result is an estimate until sign up. A completed job is one with a time sheet to be paid out in the payroll cycle, so recurring cleans count each visit.
Janitorial Manager
Janitorial Manager quotes every account instead of selling a plan, and the one figure on the page is the $1,000 a month floor a single facility starts at. What moves the quote is four things the page names: buildings and locations, cleanable square footage, how many people log in, and which workflows you switch on. Training, onboarding, support and upgrades sit inside the subscription rather than arriving as a separate line, and the two larger tiers print the word Custom where a price would go. This is building service contractor software, so the reference points are square feet and inspections rather than jobs and invoices.

Where these figures came from

Every figure above was read from MaidCentral and Janitorial Manager on their own pricing pages on September 7, 2026. Nothing here ranks the two, because the ranking would be ours and you could not check it. Prices in this category move, so check the current number with both before you buy.
