Tool

Which software fits my business

Answer three questions and get up to four platforms that serve your trade, fit a crew your size, and name what you need on their own pricing pages. No email, nothing to submit, and the same answers always give the same list.

1. What is the trade?

The trades each platform names on its own site.

2. How many people are on the tools?

Everyone who needs a login, office included.

3. What does it have to do?

Pick none and you get everything that fits the first two answers. Each one you add is checked against what the vendor names on its own pricing page.

The shortlist

Pick a trade and a crew size to see a shortlist.

How the shortlist is decided

A platform is on the list when it names your trade on its own site, when your crew size sits inside the range we call its fit, and when its own pricing page names every feature you ticked. That is the whole rule. There is no score out of ten and no ranking, because the order would be ours rather than the vendor's, and you could not check it.

When more than four platforms qualify, the cheaper ones are shown first, priced for the largest crew your answer covers rather than for one user. 6 to 20 is priced for twenty, so the plan on the card is one everybody in that range can buy and a smaller crew pays no more than the figure shown. Some of these plans are flat, so a crew of six and a crew of twenty pay the same. More than 20 has no largest crew, so it is priced for twenty five and the shortlist says so. The figure is the cheapest plan that covers that crew, and a feature you ticked can sit on a plan above it: these vendors publish which features they sell, not which plan each one comes on, so the price is the floor and the vendor's own page is what settles it. Where a vendor publishes no price that covers that crew, the card says so instead of estimating. Prices come from the 23 vendor pricing pages that print one, read on September 6, 2026, and every card links to the page its figure came from. For your own number, use the calculator below.
