What the prices do not tell you

ServiceM8
The only one here that does not charge per seat, which is why a big crew doing few jobs lands cheap and a small crew doing many jobs does not. iPhone and iPad only in the field. Plan prices, job allowances and Premium Plus's 20c a job overage re-read in Chrome on 2026-09-29 and unchanged. Setup and training is sold by independent ServiceM8 Partners rather than priced by ServiceM8, and no card rate is published on the US pricing page.
Joist
This is a quoting and invoicing app, not a field service platform: there is no dispatch board and no crew scheduling. For a solo contractor who only needs to look professional on paper it is a tenth of the price of everything else here.
