What the prices do not tell you

Service Autopilot
The page prints one figure a plan and says all of it is based on annual subscription rates, so there is no month to month number here. Every tier is on top of a sign up fee that is not published, and the licences are counted in two kinds: a business user is the office seat and a mobile user is the one in the van.
Joist
This is a quoting and invoicing app, not a field service platform: there is no dispatch board and no crew scheduling. For a solo contractor who only needs to look professional on paper it is a tenth of the price of everything else here.

Where the numbers came from

Every figure above was read from Service Autopilot and Joist on their own pricing pages on September 6 and 28, 2026. Nothing here ranks the two, because the ranking would be ours and you could not check it. These prices change, so check the current number with both before you buy.

Full pricing for Service Autopilot and Joist. To put your own crew size, add-ons and what you take on cards against both, open the true cost calculator with the two already side by side. To start from your trade and crew size instead of from these two, open the picker with Service Autopilot pinned, and it will say whether Service Autopilot makes the list for your answers.
