What the prices leave out

Roofing has a free plan in this list that does not do this job. Roofr's Starter costs nothing, but it carries ten trial proposals, invoices and work orders, and card and ACH payments start on Essentials at $249, so that is the price shown for Roofr here. Its rates are printed: 2.8% plus 30c a card payment, and 0.5% for a bank payment capped at $40.

QuoteIQ takes online payments from Essentials, $29.99 for one user and $25 for each extra, which puts five people at $129.99. Contractor Foreman's online payments start on Standard, which holds three users, so five are on Plus at $199 month to month, and it prints 2.9% plus $0.30 a card payment. CompanyCam collects payment on site from Core, $79 for one user and $34 for each extra, so five people come to $215. RoofSnap lists payments on its subscription and Leap on Team, and both cost more for a crew of five.

How this list was made

A platform is on this page when its own site names roofing, its pricing page names card payments, and it publishes a price. They are ordered by what a crew of 5 pays on the cheapest published plan that covers five people, and by nothing else: no score, no star rating and no say for the companies that pay us a commission. Each is priced on the cheapest plan its pricing page says includes card payments. A plan priced by routes, jobs or active customers is not ranked against them, because the size of the crew does not decide what it costs, and nor is a platform whose pricing page does not say which plan includes card payments, so those come last with the reason beside them. The answer by crew size is the same rule the picker runs, so the two will not disagree. We have not run any of these on live jobs, and nothing here is written as though we had. Prices change, so check the current figure with the vendor before you buy.
