What the prices leave out

Crew Control puts invoicing, payments and QuickBooks Online in its $39 base plan. It prices by the crew, though, so a second crew on its own route is a second subscription, and the product page states no card rate. GorillaDesk takes payments through Stripe or Square and Markate through Square, and neither prints a rate of its own.

Two lawn platforms on this list publish what taking money costs. Arborgold prints 2.9% and $0.20 a card payment for Visa, Mastercard and Discover, and 1% for a bank payment, capped at $15. Housecall Pro prints its card rate as a floor, as low as 2.59%, so the fee worked out from it is a minimum. Arborgold is also one of the dearer plans here, on a twelve month contract, so the published rate is worth more to a business putting a lot through cards than to one sending a few invoices a week.

Also named, with no published price

These name lawn care and card payments too, and print no figure, so there is nothing to put in the list above.

How this list was made

A platform is on this page when its own site names lawn care, its pricing page names card payments, and it publishes a price. They are ordered by what a crew of 5 pays on the cheapest published plan that covers five people, and by nothing else: no score, no star rating and no say for the companies that pay us a commission. The answer by crew size is the same rule the picker runs, so the two will not disagree. We have not run any of these on live jobs, and nothing here is written as though we had. Prices change, so check the current figure with the vendor before you buy.
