What the prices leave out
Five platforms that name HVAC and dispatch publish no price at all: ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, FieldPulse, Commusoft and ServiceTrade. That is why they sit below the table, and why the priced list is shorter than the list of names an HVAC owner will be shown. The three cheapest that do print a price are each priced in a different shape.
ServiceM8 charges by jobs a month rather than by seats, so a crew doing a few long installs pays little and a crew doing many short service calls does not. Fergus prints From $31 and From $44 and never says how many users those cover, so treat them as starting figures, but it is the only one of the three that prints a card rate, 2.95% plus 30c. Kickserv opens its page on annual pricing, so its month to month price for five users is $75, not the $60 shown first.

How this list was made
A platform is on this page when its own site names HVAC, its pricing page names GPS tracking or dispatch, and it publishes a price. They are ordered by what a crew of 5 pays on the cheapest published plan that covers five people, and by nothing else: no score, no star rating and no say for the companies that pay us a commission. The answer by crew size is the same rule the picker runs, so the two will not disagree. We have not run any of these on live jobs, and nothing here is written as though we had. Prices change, so check the current figure with the vendor before you buy.
